It's just a bunch of crap that I find interesting!
Just thought I would let you all know that darts are officially over for all of us. Val and I lost in the first round of playoffs. Nick, Ben and Eric all lost in the second round. Sad :( If you're interested in playing steel tip darts in Denver, you can check out the RMDA website.

My mom was in, let's say 'a giving mood,' and tried to get us to take a bunch of stuff out of her garage home with us. Guess what Nick found...oh yeah, the original Rubik's Cube that my parents gave me in 1981. Yes folks, Nick wasn't born until 1982, so he never had one as a kid. He has been playing with the thing non stop since then. He swears he's gonna figure it out. :)
We have been making homemade chips, salsa and guac lately. Thanks to the fryer my mom gave us for Christmas. I think Nick may have put too much of something? I don't remember...but I thought it was good.
I love living in a country where I am constantly amazed by the stuff people invent, and as an avid baker, I LOVE this pan. Why the hell didn't I think of this? All edge brownies...brilliant.
So as I have said in previous posts its been snowing here for what seems like forever. So Nick and I have had to become a little creative in our activities. Dont worry were still going out and playing darts whenever possible, but trying to find other things to do when its freezing outside has been difficult. Last weekend we decided to take a drive up north to the Butterfly Pavilion. It is definitely for kids age 2-12, but don't let it scare you away, it was actually cool. (and we dont really get to see butterflies in Colorado) It's worth the $8 admission and a good way to kill an hour or so during the Colorado winter.
So my boyfriend who can't keep presents from me, decided to give me my valentines day gift 2 days early! (because that's when it came in the mail) I can't say he doesn't listen...he got me the Pinto purse. How awesome is that? It's SO cute. Yea Nick!

I am especially fond of the 1977 ford pinto, the 1978 ford mustang and the 1977 chevy caravan. The Pinto is definitly my favorite, not only is it cute enough to carry everyday, but it's got to be a GREAT coversation starter.
Nick and I have been together for 8 months now. Yay!! Everyone who knows us, knows what a feat this is. We had a bit of a rocky start.
