So the bad news is Mia did fracture the top of her femur. (thigh bone or hip, whichever you prefer) She needs surgery and the quote is $2400. Are you frickin' kidding me? So I'm looking into other vets/clinics and hopefully better prices. She's on pain meds and I'll keep you all updated.(on the x-ray... look on the left side where the thigh bone/hip joins the pelvis)
